ISMK Missions Trip 2008

Dates: July 22 – August 4, 2008
Cost: Airfare plus $1000.
Location: Tanzania
Application

Last summer was our first ISMK missions trip to Honduras. We had 12 people go, and it was amazing! Since it went so well, and so many have expressed an interest in another mission trip, Bwana Chad is going to lead another one!

Summer of 2008 we will be taking a missions trip to Tanzania! We were originally going to go to Kenya, but because of the political turmoil, the local missionaries felt it would be better for us to change our trip a little.

We will be working with a local missionary and the Area Director, to minister to rural children in Tanzania. We will run a few children’s outreaches with local churches as well as running the Tanzania PK retreat, and a day with the Tanzania MKs. We have room for 15 people on this trip (12 MKs and 3 staff). As of June 3rd we have 8 MKs registered for the trip. At this point, we are still open to other MKs joining us. If you are interested, please contact the MK office. The airfare has been relatively expensive since the beginning, and it has not changed. However, if your parents account is strong, they can help with the cost of the trip. The total cost of the time in Tanzania is $1,000, which will include all your transportation, meals, lodging and a one-day safari. Airfare will vary depending on where you are flying from. However, the average cost of a ticket is about $2,200. If you are interested, but just concerned about the costs… CALL US!

We have staff coming on the trip, along with Bwana Chad. It is promising to be an AMAZING time in Africa. We also have a couple MKs from Africa who will join us once we arrive!

If you would like to go on a missions trip next summer, send us an email and let us know where you think we should take our next trip! We are always open to suggestions!
