Upcoming MK Task Forces

Mombasa, Kenya: January 2—12. We will be working with the MKs of a field fellowship retreat of a neighboring sensitive country. We will have approximately 20 MKs for a period of 4 or 5 days. The cost for this trip is still being determined, but it will probably be about $600 above airfare. We will be flying in and out of Nairobi, Kenya. We will need about 6 staff: 2 for nursery/toddler, 2 for early elementary, and 2 for older MKs.

Fiji: January 20, January 24 –31. These are approximate dates, but the retreat we are staffing is the Oceanic Pacific. The retreat is actually scheduled for January 26—30. Cost of the retreat will be around $600 above airfare.  Yes… the beach in January! Send me applications quickly…

Istanbul, Turkey: April 5—15. The tentative dates of the youth retreat for this area is over Easter (April 10—13). Cost of this trip is $600 above airfare. This retreat is only for teenagers in that area, approximately 50 students.

Podova, Italy (July 20-29): We will be working with an International Church to put on their VBS (Vacation Bible School) program.

Fill out the application form if you are interested in going on a trip. If you would like more information, please contact the MK office. Financial aid is available through your parents (00), if they have sufficient funds.

As always with these retreats, the costs are up to each one of us to raise. We keep the costs as low as possible. If it is your first time to go on an MK Task Force, we may be able to help - contact us. Typically, the cost of the Task Forces is about $500 above the cost of the airfare. Each one will vary a little. You can use your own travel agent, but if we are going to pay the travel agent (and you reimburse us), then we will need to make the reservations with Great Southern Travel.
